Position Overview:

The IT Specialist will support staff and franchisees, set up laptops for new hires, train employees and franchisees on Microsoft Office 365/Teams/OneDrive; and understand and assist with network security and reliability. ​

Responsibilities: ​

  • Provide Technical support to company staff and franchisees. (Troubleshoot computer issues for both Windows and macOS. Assisting end users with hardware set up. troubleshooting: monitors, keyboard, mouse, headsets, webcam.) 
  • Conduct Technology Onboarding for franchisees (Microsoft Office Suite installation, Outlook – shared inboxes, email signatures, FAQs, MS Teams, and One Drive sync/file sharing properties.
  • Support Franchisee access to IT systems, including Franchisee employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Give IT 101 training to new employees 
  • Triage and complete help desk tickets via Freshdesk. Take ownership of support issues and follow up on the status.
  • Identify, diagnose, resolve, issues that arise with end users and systems. 
  • Document and develop guides for end users, IT processes, and systems. 
  • RMA, Repair laptops and computers. 
  • Assisting with hardware/software inventory management and asset tracking 
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed 
  • Aid with Dashboard and Analytics 
  • Must possess a strong inclination for problem solving and attention to detail. 
  • Designs, improves, documents, and advocates system improvements/processes. 
  • Review security standards and company compliance of requirements, implementing security improvements 

Qualifications: ​

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Microsoft 365 administration and IT support / responsible experience in related roles 
  • Previous Desktop Support experience 
  • Responsive and able to deliver the highest level of customer service 
  • Azure Active Directory 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Experience with supporting Microsoft apps on both android and iOS devices. 
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Mac and PC related hardware such as printer, keyboard, mouse, and monitors 
  • Communication skills 
  • Must possess a strong inclination for problem solving and attention to detail. 
  • Self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities 
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team settings, with a positive attitude and a team player mentality 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, change oriented, "start-up" like environment
